Happy Dad's Day

Hello everyone,

I hope you are all getting to spend time with your special Dad's today.  My little family is going to spend sometime with my Dad today.  We are taking him to his favorite chicken house to eat some yummy food.  I have been truly blessed with some great father figures in my life (including a great father for my children), so with just one weekend to celebrate it makes for a very busy weekend.

Today I am sharing one of the many cards I made this week.  I bought a couple new stamps from Lawn Fawn and I have to tell you that the Dad's Day set is very versatile.  I can't wait to sit down and play with it again.

I pulled out my exacto knife for this little number and I am super happy with how it turned out.   I love making a stamp stretch, and cutting out the tie really made the card pop.

May PTI Blog Hop

When I first saw the inspiration for this months blog hop an idea for a card popped right into my head.  I just has to find the time.

I absolutely love the colors in this picture!  I love the texture of the first plate, so to give my card some texture I embossed a doily onto my card.  I really love how it turned out! So fun and really fast!

Make it Monday #59

Hello there,
It has been a while since I have had the time to make a card for the Monday Challenge over on Nichole's Blog. Friday I happened to watch the video Erin made on computer generated sentiments. ( I just so happened to be looking for a little something extra for my friends wedding present.) I saw this video and decided to make some personalized stationary. I can't tell you how excited I was to see how simple it was to make something look professional! I am going to be using this technique a lot.

The cards are a little on the simple side, but that is really the look I was going for. I was scanning the pinterest for color combos and came across this one. Love it!

Love the handy boxes you get from PTI stamps!! I use them for card sets.

Supplies: Dies: Fillable Frames #7, Stamps: Sweet Spring, PTI Anniversary Set 2012
