Thinking of you : Olympics of Stamping

My inspiration for today's card comes from the new cover of Better Homes and Gardens. When I first saw this cover I got a huge smile on my face, which may sound weird, but the colors are so beautiful! The picture doesn't quite do them justice, but they are so clear and spring like. I knew I had to make a card!

Here is the card! I used Heros Arts Large Flower Cling stamp along with a sentiment from Scattered Showers. I added some lemongrass ribbon from offray to finish the card!

Thinking of You : Olympics of Stamping

Here is my third and probably final card that I am entering into the Moxie Fab Stamping Olympics. My little guy has taken an extra long nap today so I was able to wrap up some of my posts.

I really like this huge flower from Hero Arts! It is great for any kind of card as a background or even a focal point. Well thank you so much for stopping by!

Love You Card : Olympics of Stamping

This is my second card for the Moxie Fab Olympics of Stamping. I used two of my new favorite stamps from PTI Scattered Showers and Dot Spot's. I just can't put Dot Spot's down, it really works for everything you can think of!

Birthday Card : Olympics of Stamping

I decided to try a couple cards for the Olympics of Stamping over at the Moxie fab blog! On my first card I used my new favorite color combo, raspberry fizz, brown, aqua mist, and white.
All supplies are PTI except for the polka dot background which is by stampabilities.

Fun with floss!

Over at the Moxie fab blog Cath is hosting a fun with floss challenge! I for sure had fun with floss on this one! I also wanted to challenge myself to use floss on a boy card (I have the most trouble brainstorming for those). My first thought was to pull out my Martha Stewart Transportation stamp set and pair it with the Hero Arts clouds background stamp. I love this stamp by the way I want to use it on almost every card!! My goal was to use the floss to make a row of clouds really pop off the card. I also used a french knot technique that I saw on Maile Belles blog .
Hope you enjoyed my card today, and don't forget to pop on over to Cath's blog for inspiration!

Just Because..

Not having the Internet drives me crazy! So I have been crazy for the last 1 1/2 weeks because my cable company decided to replace the line without warning! So here I am today finally adding a card. I really like simple cards, so for the card I am sharing with you today I kept it super simple. I used two 2 inch circles and then punched smaller circles out of the spring rain . I added some lemon tart butterflies that I punch with a Martha Stewart punch.

In other news I am so very excited about this months PTI release! I am sure you all have stopped by Nicole's blog and looked around at all their wonderful stuff! I am so very excited, how about you? I am most excited for the new Color Couture Embellishments, and you can check those out over at Dawn's Blog. I just know I will probably buy all of those!
